Naw, I predict they will say nothing until they release the expansion. They'll make us suffer, then they'll finally bring the server up, make the patch downloadable, and put up one hell of a whopper of a news story.

Another possibility, of course, is that while the FW content may be in the patch, they might have it disabled for some period of time as they continue to ramp up the storyline. This might make more sense than suddenly flipping a switch and have all four factions declare war simultaneously.

In any case, it should be ... interesting, in the Old Chinese Proverb™ sense of the word.
