((I've been wanting to get into creative writing again for a long time, haven't done much of any writing in awhile, other than writing for scene work in acting classes awhile ago... but that was, like I said, awhile ago, and is not quite the same.))

I'm hoping that I can find time to actually work on this, amid all of the militia and anti-pirate work lately, but I've decided I should really go back and start a journal... about everything. It has been two years since I've started my capsuleer career, and it's completely changed my life. I've met all sorts of people, good and bad, friends and enemies. I've accomplished great deeds, but I've also made plenty of mistakes and done things I heavily regret.

So I've decided to lay my story bare for you all to see. I have no guarantee when the first big story will be available, as I'm not entirely certain where to start. There's just a brief (at least, in terms of my writing) biography, basically summarizing my life thus far (gotta navigate to the "About" page to see it), but will add more as I go along. I will update this page when there's something more newsworthy about it, and it's all formatted nicely.

((Yes, I plan for these blogs to hopefully be available to other characters, in some way, if they choose to find them... Once I actually get going on actually posting them, it would be need to get some OOC feedback, as well. I won't be posting my character's most deepest, darkest secrets, although I will be admitting over the course of it some of the atrocities that were both inflicted upon me as well as the few I committed in the name of survival.
To better answer your question, though... I haven't fully decided what "media" Herc will recording this all in, and how it would be available for another character to come across. Until I make the point of the media clear, I guess it would be better to assume that you, as the reader, are not reading these as your character. However, if you DO read something OOC that you think would be good for your character to discover, for a chance for RP with me (before I make the blog public IC somehow), I would gladly welcome it. I'm sure we can find a way to make a plot point relevant somehow. I'm hoping that this can spark some sort of RP for me, as I haven't had much IC RP in EVE outside of combat ops. Plenty of RP in games like D&D, my friends and I spend hours doing just RP sometimes hehe.))

((UPDATE: Okay, so there's a handful of teaser posts so far... I haven't had the time to write more than basically a short weekly journal entry. Also, I've decided that the blog is not directly accessible to anyone to read ICly... only because herc has this as a sort of journal he keeps in his stationside room in Teonusude. I'm not sure if we have paper or not in EVE anymore, although I would like to see it as more of something I would stash underneath something in my room somewhere... I'm certain there would be some sort of electronic datapad sturdy enough for me to hide in a hurry. So basically, please feel free to read my posts, but OOCly, unless somehow it ever comes up in RP that someone walks in on me writing and gets a hold of my journal.))

((I've gotten better at trying to get some posts done... please give me a heads up if I'm too "descriptive" about something that I shouldn't want to risk the public finding out, ie accidental intel.. I try to avoid names of friendlies for the most part when writing about an in-game event, though, such as roams.))
