Okay, so I'm going.

Earlybird tickets are on sale, and there are airfare+ticket packages, as well as airfare+ticket+hotel packages.

I almost just pulled the trigger and picked a package, but decided to slow down and ask for a bit of advice first.
Should I go for one of these packages, or should I look to customize something for myself?
Does anyone know if the airfare packages through the CCP site allow you to pick your arrival/departure dates?

I was thinking, as this will be my first time in Europe, that I will make it a full-length vacation and stay away from home for a couple weeks, and probably see more than just Iceland.
I am very open to suggestions about my travel plan and even more open for all of you Europeans to begin fighting over who I am and am not going to come visit... Tongue
Man, I wish I could afford to go to FanFest, that would be awesome. Sadly, couldn't afford it anytime soon, mostly likely. Sad

I vote you come to Finland.

I'd offer accommodation too, but Fanfest dates are a week away from the ETA of my first child so I might be otherwise occupied. Tongue
Finland is pretty cool though...
In the end of March / beginning of April, very probably literally so. But so's Iceland.
No idea of CCP packages and how flexible they are.

Vote for Finland from me and Jilnor too. No idea though how it combines to flight routes. If you come to Finland (Helsinki) I and Jilnor can offer place to sleep on our couch for couple of days.
"Altaen to Finland" -vote here too! Smile
Altaen to Ropecon! Fanfest stinks!

(I want to meet you, too :-P)
Kady, you might be better off voting him to come to Germany on the Fanfest trip, at this point. Tongue
Have to say that Iceland is pretty awesome too, at least if you appreciate nature and ultracool scenery (and soaking in hot pools Big Grin). It's also probably not quite at lethally expensive in the middle of winter.
