If anyone's been wondering where I've been, my broadband line finally succumbed to the line fault it's been fighting for the last five years and died completely.
After a week of screaming and crying at tech support and some severe loneliness and boredom (living as I do in a place where I have nothing appealing not online to do), it is now back up and running.
ARGH! Must change skills!
