Gahrian's picture just about finished, let me know what you think

Awesome picture! Artistically, absolutely great.

But I somehow didn't quite imagine Gahrian that way. Dunno. That guy looks a bit sickly - old guy, red eyes. Black magician of sorts or something. :-)

Gahrian is a soldier, not the clan shaman.

yes you may have a point, he did not want any weapons, his ship is his weapon, so putting him in battle armor without guns did not look right, but thxs for feed back, it helps me get an picture of how people see things, please keep them coming.

That is an awesome picture on itself; does not need to be game-related, does not need to know anything about Gahrian for it to fit.

That said, I am with Arkady: I imagine Gahrian somehow... sturdier. I see him as a soldier, a warrior, and the man in the picture does not spell that. It is not the lack of weapons. It is that the picture here has a very strong... feeling... into it (which is a good thing in a picture!) and that feeling is not that of a soldier, but maybe rather a shaman or a politician. Or an assassin, maybe.

They very rarely make movies the way I want them to be after reading a book though so I am difficult that way.

I did not think of a "battle armor" when I thought of a "soldier" :-D Think of fighter pilots or ship captains. They don't wear weapons or battle armor. Instead, some kind of uniform, dress uniform maybe with medals, such things.

I might be weird in that regard, but I don't think most of the space ship captains or crew of EVE will run around with hand weapons and battle armors ...

That's pretty cool.
