Was going through some old mail in a mailing list I am a member of.
There is a mail from July that I recognize, but I can't specifically remember who sent it...I do know I haven't seen said player in game for awhile, which is probably why I'm drawing a blank...
Either way, the mail now says:
From: R.I.P.
Does this mean this pilot was biomassed?
Search for them with p&p. If they're not findable, or if they're not in any corp, they're biomassed.
deceased pilots are moved to doomheim [666] and shouldnt be searchable on people and places, but url links to them should show them.
Deceased pilots actually do not show any corp these days :-)
I just oddly enough read someone bio tonight that did indeed once again link a deceased pilot to doomheim [666], although you cannot look at any corp info for that corp

Funny. Just found one (Infinitus Odium corp info, "Founder" info) - that's a recent change (almost 100% sure about that :-)). Wonder when that happened.
Its definitly very recent, I remember when it went away..... (no, not exactly
when
)
Woaw. You can take the name of people who biomassed ? That Vlad Draconis guy's show info shows dead character, but if you search for Vlad Draconis, you find completely different guy
Yeah, you can impersonate the recently deceased if people dont look too hard. I believe that contacts, standings etc are tied to the character ID rather than the name though. Doomheim characters retain their character name even if a live character has the same name.
