My first attempt at the story behind this - i have decided to start with the now and will start the next of editions working form his creation to present day.
looking forward to hear your thoughts
Thank you for posting :-)
I've always liked the idea of the RSS as a shady, barely ethical intelligence force which is looking at the "bigger picture" to justify their deeds. I've use something along those lines myself in my RSS back history. Reprogramming people to make them "better" certainly fits into that!

My only negative comment is the formatting of the text, it's not always immediately clear which lines are speech and which are narrative, or when the speech has switched between the speakers. Perhaps using italics for the speech, and making sure that each section of speech is on a new line would make it clearer? You've got lot's of room to layout the stories in the posts.
thanks for that, i did look at the format myself and thought it looked hard to interpret , within word where i composed it - it looked a lot better, later tonight when i mat home ill look into pagination of it and incorporating some of your comments on presentation
ah that would explain it... yeah word doesn't translate well onto the forums.
Updated hope it looks better
OK. had time to read and consider this one now.

Having RSS as the dodgy bastards of the intelligence agencies of the empires makes sense. It's canon that they have links with the Angels for a start.

However, why reprogram a Khanid to think he's a Brutor? Surely the conditioning will break down after he gets hit for the umpteenth time by an enraged Brutor who doesn't take kindly to a Khanid claiming kinship.

Also. Distorting his perceptions of his kit makes no sense at all. Given that you use lasers and projectile turrets in different ways doing this would most likely get him killed. It's not as if Matari have any problems using whatever kit or tech they can lay hands on after all.

What would work better, in my opinion, would be something like the conditioning from A Clockwork Orange where the subject is given a strong emotional reaction to a given stimuli.
Guys,

Due to Time Constraints i have had little gaming time, this unfortunately means i havent had chance to develop this further.
