'Lo all. Figured I would let people here know about a new free Steam game. Its called Alien Swarm, and its a co-op multiplayer top down shooter. Four of you vs lots of nasty little (and not so little) aliens. Not too hard on normal, levels pretty fast, really feals like Aliens in the style and everything. Even has sentry guns. Its very co-op focused too, with some maps being impossible without a "tech" marine, and medics are very nice. I'm Malk on Steam if you want to look me up for a game, usually I just play public ones, and I haven't run into any idiots yet.

Oh, and for the coders here, they've released the source code as well, so go nuts.

Internal thread on the same subject already spans 3 pages...you'll find a ton of EM are on to this already...
Not me though...I haven't got around to checking it out yet.
