i apologize for any inconsistency with PF. I'm reading up on it, but I'm still a bit behind.

The night was very successful, and it was kind of fun to run with 2 EM pilots in our fleet. Sorry for the confusion and mess up that came from trying to relay commands from my FC to eve voice. That actually mostly worked, the issue came with information flowing back to the FC. I found it very difficult to take intel from EvE voice and relay it to my FC, and that probably cost Altean his dram (sry, Sad )

still a lot of fun, and I hope you enjoyed the dramatization of the events.
I absolutely did, thanks!

Regarding this...perhaps you have a policy, or a perfectly justified fear that prevented it...but I would gladly have joined your internal voice-comms to help prevent the relay issues.
Alternatively, at one point the fleet consisted of 2-3 non-SRE militia pilots and 2 EM pilots. With 5 of the pilots unable to hear FC commands it might have been wise at that time for your FC and pilots to have moved to EVE voice.

yeah, it may simply be the case that we need to suck it up and get on eve-voice. It just seems to be of poor quality.
It's been critical to my coordination with militia fleets...and quite frankly there's nothing wrong with it at all. A little less crisp is worth having all pilots on one channel. It won't come up often enough to be a real pain.

I've been in militia fleets (lone em volunteer at times) and even when we're on voice, they don't use it. They're also quite chaotic and very disorganized but of course that's why they're militia. Nobody knows who is doing what and where half the time.

During those times I follow em discipline, not say anything, try to guess what the militia needs and make sure I'm in the right place at the right time for whatever they may want or need.

I help the militia whenever I can because they are fighting for a just cause everyday on the front while other people sit around, reading the news and drinking martinis or watching holoreels. Some of them are fighting for fun instead of freedom, liberty and justice for all but that is not a matter of concern to me. At least they are out there, in the mix of action.
