Name: Jude Kopenhagen
DOB: 082/0714
POB: Mordu Legion Station in 5ZXX-K
Father: Simo Kopenhagen, Chief Mechanic Mordu's Legion (rt)
Mother: Akai Miranen, Intelligence Officer Caldari Navy (rt)
Height: 200cm
Weight:120kg
Additional Background:
Father, Simo Kopenhagen, is known Minmatar ship specialist, reportedly beginning his study of salvaged Minmatar ships or the ones used by some pilots as a hobby. An aptitude for mathematics and mechanics led him to quickly grasp the workings of the ships.
Mother, Akai Miranen, now residing with Simo in 5ZXX-K, was a promising young officer given a key position with a diplomatic delegation sent to Mordu’s Legion Command. Here she met Simo Kopenhagen, and a romantic liaison ensued.
She later secured a permanent posting to the Legion Command and commenced a relationship with Simo Kopenhagen.
The Caldari Navy intelligence service hoped to leverage this relationship to advantage. Akai Miranen's main duties involved gathering info on members of any pirate organisations and 0.0 alliances living in the Pure Blind area so they felt the threat level was low. Akai Miranen remained at this posting until her retirement.
Jude Kopenhagen's other living relative is Caleb Kopenhagen, paternal grandfather, thought to be of mixed origin, enlisted as a Mordu Foot soldier at 17, and was selected for the Mordu's Commandos at 21. He retired at the effective rank of Sergeant Major and now resides with Simo Kopenhagen and Akai Miranen.
Jude Kopenhagen was enrolled in a program to join the Mordu Navy at 13. An early evaluation report read:
"Jude Kopenhagen has the makings of an excellent soldier. His natural grasp of mathematics and tactics are ideal for a pilot. He shows great aptitude in hand to hand combat, both due to his size, but also by outthinking his opponent, often disregarding risk of personal injury in order to best an opponent. It is this almost fatalistic tendency, along with a strong independent spirit that brings him at odds with both instructors and fellow students. Though fiercely loyal, it is my belief that he would not be suited as officer in the Mordu's Navy and would be a troublesome rank and file soldier at best."
No record exists of Jude Kopenhagen completing this course.
He left the Mordu Legion Station in 5ZXX-K three months before his due graduation date and no further records exist until he joined the SWA in 107.
((Information about the period he was missing can be found here: http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingameboard....dID=325765 However, very little of this is on record and with extensive research the name of he organisation might be found out.))
Employment:
108.01.20: SWA: Graduate. Jude Kopenhagen's short time before graduating indicates both a previous knowledge of ships and space combat. His age at time of joining indicates that prior employment secured his admittance.
108.03.21 Mordu's Elite, a breakaway Mordu's corp. Reports indicate his independent spirit fitted in with the corp and he quickly rose in the ranks to command a squadron, Ghost Talon. He also served as a Training and Junior Intelligence officer, skills he used throughout his career.
After the defection of most of the senior command staff to the Black Rabbits during the Mito war, Jude Kopenhagen for a time waged a solo war against the Black Rabbits, shooting and getting shot by old comrades. Eventually he closed down the Elite, after most of the members either left or defected.
108.10.08 - 109.01.04 No information Available on this period other than the name The Society of the Black Bell.
109.01.04 Astopolitant Front, eventual rank Vice-Marshal. Reasons for leaving are not clear but it seems to have been on good terms.
109.01.26 Firing Squad, advisory role. Employment ends with the Invasion of Fountain by the Coalition.
109.02.18 Atkuskellaa Exploration, CEO. Corp was abruptly disbanded after news coverage of Jude Kopenhagen.
109.05.28 - 109.07.24 Very little is known about this period. Records indicate a sharp decline in his CONCORD standings as well as him moving out of Caldari space for the first time on a permanent basis. He also appears to have done some work for the Minmatar Navy during this period. Motivations or goals are unknown.
109.07.24 Duty is founded by an associate. Jude Kopenhagen returns to Caldari space to take command of this new private military company. The company takes on contracts, only asking for donations in return, usually from poorer industrial corps being threatened by pirates or profiteering warmongers . Duty was also involved in a few pro State and pro Caldari operations, aiding both the Navy and other allies. Most notable was Duty’s involvement in the Apex - Cyrene war, where having initially fought with Apex, they withdrew all their wars against Gallente corps, and instead waged war against Apex. The reasons appear Apex’s involvement with the Black Rabbits, as well as Apex negotiating themselves out of a war against Stimulus, but not coming to the aid of Duty, who were involved in the first place because of Apex.
This is the second known instance of Jude Kopenhagen waging war against former friends.
Duty joined the Caldari Militia with the onset of the war. Jude Kopenhagen attained the rank of Major.
110.08.02 Some Duty senior personnel resign to create The Children of Naught. The corporation as not official ties to any known person or organisation, nor any publicly stated goals. It is presumed this is more of a name to fly under when not engaged in other endeavours.
Another short stint in the Militia saw Jude Kopenhagen rise to the rank of Colonel.
111.02.22 PRETA, eventual rank Wraith (Director). It is believed that he chose this as a place of refuge because of his long standing friendship with Aria Jenneth. An odd choice, due to his strongly voiced stance on piracy. His move coincided with rumours of a suggested uprising against Heth, by a capsuleer group. However his involvement has never been proven. This could however be a possible explanation for his leaving the State again.
112.06.24 Re-Aw. Jude Kopenhagen remained in PRETA resolving affairs after the decline and disbandment of the corp in earlier months. During that time he was seen working in various locations across the cluster, motivation unclear. Details of his employment by Re-Aw are unclear, however he has some known acquaintances in the alliance.
Other information: Though remaining out of public eye for the most part, Jude Kopenhagen reputedly has good relations with various more public figures in the community. Some names include various CAIN personnel, Aria Jenneth, Natalcya Katla, Dresdern Karno, Sepherim, Gyra Rho, Darina, Kayleigh Jamieson, Quintrala, Myrhial Arkenath and KillJoy Tseng.
Current owner of The Daredevil’s Lounge.
Came third in a cruiser tournament held by SAK along with his team mate Vanden. He also came third in the AF class of the Fifth season of the Inter Stellar Racing League. He also featured as a IGN commentator especially during the outbreak of the recent hostilities between State and Federation capsuleers.
Vanden, as well as another person, who nothing is known about except that the person is referred to as Codename Masque appears to have been involved with Jude since their days together in Mordu’s. Even though Vanden was part of the Black Rabbits, this does not appear to have affected their friendship.
((Short bio on Jude, written as a security report, as an example of something a future employers might be able to find out. Lots of info has been left out on purpose, this is either told in other short stories, or just not something that would be public knowledge. With more effort it could possible be found out however))
