Hello and good morning to you all,
not terribly good at first introductions, but here it goes: my name is Mathias and I have a bit of a conundrum on my hands. You see, I've always been interested in joining up or helping out my Minmatar brothers in anyway I can. The causes you, Ushra'Khan, and all of the other famous groups fight for, and the people you fight aganast have always fit in nicely with my own political viewpoints. From my hatred of CVA, to a general distaste for the Amarrian government and the way they operate, I have always felt at home in the news of Electus Matari and Ushra, even though I had yet to find a home in them. Now, here comes the tricky bit: I currently work in a small corporation of fellas but... well.

We recently have decided as a group that we want to join up with Electus Matari proper. Join one of the main corporations, you see? Well, all that is fine and good, but I don't know how much we'd be wanted. Now don't get me wrong, we do have plenty of pros: I personally am (and not to toot my own horn of course) a veteran of low-sec combat, and flew shortly with a 0.0 corporation. One of my friends and I are currently less than half a month away, and about 50-100 million isk away from owning our own freighters. We both know our way around a myriad of industrial and combat roles... but heres the thing. We don't do any of them particularly -well- yet.

And to continue on the negative, our other three or four friends are... well, to put it bluntly a bit new to this capsuleer thing. Oh don't get me wrong they're lovable and all, but they also are even less skilled than us. But we want to go as a group, and that is the issue. I guess to simplify all of this, my real question is: is there any corporation willing to take in six malleable, if somewhat unqualified, capsuleers? We will try our best to do whatever is asked of us! We just first, you know... need someone of authority to ask.

Sincerely
- Mathias Sinistar
Mathias, I can't talk for any of the corps as far as taking you as a group, but I'm pretty sure that at least Re-Awakened Technologies and Gradient will take in new pilots and help them find their feet.

So, look at the recruitment pages, decide which corps you're interested in, and talk to the recruiters. EM is in general made up of reasonable people. It should be possible to work something out.

Fly Free,

Ulf
A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Sinistar. I have a couple of questions. I am not a recruiter, so I will not likely have anything much to do with the decision to hire you all, I am merely curious.
I can't help but cover a couple of basics.
I see that you once worked for Sniggwaffe, Suddenly Ninjas, and No Fun Allowed. Those are all questionable employers to work for. Can you tell me about your time there?

Also, might you be able to invite your corpmates here to introduce themselves? It is good to hear that you politics are aligned well with ours...though I am curious whether this is more or less universal in your corporation.

Also, I noticed your corporation was only formed this month. Can you tell me how Gentlemen Operators came to be, and what your goals were only a few weeks ago, and why they have changed?

To be honest I cannot put away my past. I have flown both for industrialists and thieves, good men and horrible bastards. I like to think that I can get behind that however, if the corp wills it. I joined some of them for a macabre fun, some for a new way to pay the bills, but I hope you can take solace in the fact that I am no longer in them. I made our little corporation for a few reasons, mostly due to a few friends of mine and myself wanting a space for ourselves, away from the rest of the craziness of space to ply a bit of trade, and work for an honest days wages. I work for the Gallente Navy now for the most part, while my friend, who also has a bit of a checkered past, is now plying his intellect into trade and manufacturing. I wouldn't call us reformed per se, but I like to think that my training through these areas of bad respute can be used to help the corp stay safe, and not make any trouble.

As for why I am so quick to abandon our fledgling corp? Part of it is that checkered past wanting nothing of it. We've been harassed by a few old acquaintances I'll admit, but its nothing that will carry on past this corp. They want to see me fail, and will consider the death of my corp as such, and that will be the end of that. But I also think that our goals should be bigger. If we are going to ply our trade, we should do it for a cause. I've always thought that, and to me there is nothing better than assisting my brethren.

And as for why my friends are not here as well? I was simply looking for interest here at the moment is all, to see if anyone would take us. If they will, I'll point them all, any who are interested, to this common forum to let them introduce themselves.

I hope that answers your questions to your satisfaction.
Check out Gradient's recruitment Info - we take pilots regardless of experience - it's attitude and integrity that's important. We can help with the experience.

Causality is probably nearer the more casual end of the -EM- corps.

We don't discriminate on racial, faith or gender basis, we don't care about your past, we judge our members on their actions, not their history. Anyone can be anything they want in CLTY (eventually).

(( We're "RP lite". We RP interactions with the alliance on the IC channels, but in corp we're a bunch of friends, we pretty much all know each other IRL, and we often host / joint-host the regular London Eve meet to maintain those relations )).

Causality doesn't usually recruit from the capsuleer population, and I wouldn't want to poach prospects from any other corporation, so probably best to ask the other -EM- corps first.

Regarding newer pilots, we like our meat fresh, they come with less baggage, but we'll rarely say "no" to a veteran applicant either.

Recruitment into Causality is on personality basis. If we like you, you get to stay after your 3 month probation, if not, the door will hit you in the ass as we boot you out Wink

There's probably an old info thread around about us somewhere...

E: Found it, and boy is it old! (( The "open to community members only" bit is out of date, but we do insist that you join the forums once you're recruited. ))
