In regards to Ulphus's story :

It was a little unclear to me who he killed. Did he kill the pirate, or the pilot of the hauler. Clearly both have partial blame and he seems to be angry at both of them. I assume he killed the pirate, but then i'd say his revenge isn't complete and he should now focus on the pilot of the hauler.
so I'd say "Mikar, don't join Ellen, yet! Teach that hauler pilot a lesson"
P.S. Nice story.

Oddly I read it differently. He was killing the pilot that jumped a hauler into a deathtrap without taking backup to scout or clear the way.
It's just as well don't really have to worry about this sort of thing in game or there would be a lot more cloning accidents.

Hey, there are a lot of cloning accidents. Think about all the poor throwaway alts that get trashed!

I had intended that it was the pirate who was being hunted, but I can see in retrospect that that was unclear. I don't know that it matters that much.
It was mostly written as a reaction to people claiming that
a) pilots are immortal
b) We don't need no steenken mud people, they can't hurt us, so we can treat them like dirt.
I assumed it was the pirate but also kind of liked the ambiguity.

This. I liked that it is up to the reader to speculate who he takes revenge on.
