It's been three days since I started working on it. I don't think three days is too much to ask for really.
We have reimbursed ABNTanker for the loss of his Hurricane and apologized on behalf of Electus Matari. It's my impression that ABNTanker is content with this outcome and considers the matter closed.
COVU have reset all corporate and personal standings. This was a case of mistaken identity. There was a Hurricane is system trying to shoot down a TLF cruiser fifteen minutes earlier. It wasn't ABNTanker however. Tasadare has been advised to note down names in the future as ship type is not enough to go on.
Now, we're aware of Tasadare's past history. We believe in second chances. From the explanations I've been given, I do not consider this a deliberate act of piracy on his behalf. I'm also convinced that he'll be more careful in the future.
That's it. Or almost it. Kismo, I see you've changed corporation since we last saw you. Your CEO will be receiving a notification of standing change shortly. Thank you for bringing that to our attention as well.

There is and can be absolutely no doubt that Tasadare and Yan Mei were out pirating. There is an absolutely massive body of evidence in favor of this, and anyone that bothers to examine with clear eyes it will see it for what it is.
You say that you are in favor of giving "second" chances, but what I'm really seeing here is that you are in favor of selectively ignoring pirate activities. Reimbursement and faux apologies indeed. I find it extremely disheartening to know that even today's "anti-pirates" do not practice what they preach and are nothing more than pirates under the skin.

Should the original victim wish to raise the case again, he knows how to contact us (though my understanding is he is content with the resolution).
Should any party have information about Electus Matari pilots' misconduct while in Electus Matari, kindly forward that to the alliance.
As for preferential treatment, should any current pirates wish to have their second chance, you can either contact us for standings neutralization or for employment, same as anyone.
