YC110.06.07, Evanda Char released a public statement on behalf of -EM- and RE-AL concerning an in-depth research project regarding the search for a permanent cure for the mutating virus employed in the Vitoc method of slave control, as well as a document summarizing their progress.

This was nearly two years ago.

At this time, Du'uma Fiisi Integrated Astrometrics is looking into acquiring the sort of equipment, infrastructure and medical and scientific specialists that would allow us to funnel some of our ISK into a more positive and productive endeavor. Our admittedly hard-line views on many pertinent issues and our history of pursuing military solutions where available have created a very negative and destructive public face for our clan and its representative corporation that we would very much like to temper with a project that more accurately expresses the humanitarian core of our pro-Minmatar goals.

With this in mind, on behalf of Du'uma Fiisi I would like to formally ask Electus Matari to share with us the results of their continued research into a cure for the slavers' mutating virus.
This research is not technically speaking owned by EM, but by ReAw; I am fairly sure the rest of EM council will be willing to go with whatever they decide about this. Certainly I do not personally feel I can make the call for them.

Thank you for your offer of assistance to the people, though. Much appreciated.
A response from RE-AW would be even more appreciated...
Sorry about the delay; I've been checking details with regard to your request and had to wait on some responses.

I'm sorry to tell you that I'm no longer in charge of this research and I no longer have the authority to release information on it, including the identity of who does.

All I can you is that when a publication is permitted, it'll be made.
Well... that is disappointingly unhelpful. I'd hoped that Electus Matari would be better at sorting friends from enemies than the Republic. It seems I should've known better... I will next time.
I fail to see how this was anyone's fault. Seems to be a matter of bad timing.
Doesnt everyone love requests for help, swiftly followed by an attack when they don't get what they want, when they want it?

We'll know better next time.

I fault RE-AW for refusing to work with a goal-oriented organization with a clear and publicly established pro-Minmatar focus and its own budding history of bold and meaningful efforts aimed at the liberation and repatriation of Minmatar slaves held in the Empire.

Can there be bad timing for trying to help our brethren?

You request seems to have bad timing. Perhaps you should have acted sooner?
