Greetings. We would like to request the reason for setting us to -5. Hope and Change is an industrial corporation dedicated to the defense of our home system. I can confirm that we have not engaged an Electus Matari alliance member since the cessation of hostilities when we departed the War.Pigs Alliance due to a difference of opinion with alliance leadership.

Thank you,

Lecom, Director
You are listed as "-5, piracy"; the report that lead to your redding is as follows:

"Former corporation of War.Pigs.
Observed 4 pilot Battlecruiser gang in Aedald, sitting on the Heild gate. A blue vagabond arrived at gate and they chased him through, I followed and found a total of about 6 pilots on the other side in Drakes. No indication of an engagement but not for lack of trying I would suspect."

We are sorry if the report is in error. Sometimes this happens, especially in the case of former hostiles.

If you wish to be removed from the red list, it can be done on the following terms:
* No piracy, griefing, thieving, extortion, or other criminal acts in Heimatar, Metropolis, Molden Heath, Great Wildlands, or other territory controlled by the Minmatar Republic.
* No support of the Amarr militia or other slaver organizations (e.g. CVA).

Kindly note that simply refraining from hostilities with Electus Matari is not enough for neutral status. Please inform us of your current status and rules of engagement and we can talk further.

I can confirm that we were formerly with War.Pigs. Since we left that alliance essestially because they provoked a war with you "formerly" should be a good thing? Right? You pilot admits that he saw no hosilities take place.

I can also confirm that we primarily conduct our operations in Aedald

Our pilots are regular contributors to the Molden Intel channel, which is the main reason for this communication. This is a useful tool, and as I have said we post scouting reports there especially on the entry point to Great Wildlands.

I can also confirm the last Electus Matari ship we destroyed was a valid war target during a time a war.
I am sorry for the difficulties. Yes, I find it encouraging you have left the alliance, though you must be aware that this happens regularly with people attempting to dodge a war.

I have high hopes that we can solve this amicably.

Kindly advice me of your rules of engagement - do you allow shooting at neutrals in MH?

Sorry for the delays in response. During this conversation we have been negotiating a new alliance membership. At this time we are now aligned with INQUISITION.

Because of this, our official Rules of Engagement are anti-pirate and NRDS.

Thanks
Thank you for the information.

We will remove the red from your corporation, leaving you neutral, in the spirit of allowing second chances. Please be advised that we do fire on flashy, so if you need protection for outlaws, you need to negotiate a blue on alliance level.

Good luck in your new alliance! Certainly it must be a change for the better.

Elsebeth
Thank you for the consideration. I have likewise updated our standings from -5 to neutral. Hopefully in the future your pilots will attempt to be more accurate in their reporting as this can cause most unfortunate events.

Safe flying to all.
Thank you, and I wish the same about yours.

Fly safe.
