Ladies and Gentlemen of Electus Matari,
Like your esteemed colleague, I too have seen the mortal blow the loss of the Federation would be to all Freecaptains. Yes, it isn't perfect, but it's damn well better than the State or Empire.

As President, I would (among other things) grant automatic citizenship to any Slave that crosses the border into the Federation, with all the rights and privileges thereof.

Of course, I have an assload more plans and programs, and will be doing some whistle-stop speeches. Feel free to attend if you're curious.

Does this mean that a slaver carrying slaves who passes through Federation territory will then be carrying Federation citizens?

What is your policy towards organisations enslaving Federation citizens?

Out of curiosity, should a ship load of slaves arrive, you would force Federation citizenship upon them, or would you allow them onwards to come home so that they might be with the rest of their people?

Of course I'll let them do as they like. Man, a good deed really doesn't go unpunished, does it?
