Seeking blue?
Electus Matari grants +5 to any organization that fulfills the basic criteria below. A standing of +5 means our pilots will not fire on you and in case of friendly fire will do their outmost best to disengage before returning fire. It is not a guarantee of help, co-operation, or information sharing of any kind.
We grant +5 standings under the following conditions:
NBSI outside of Republic space is none of our business, as long as you do not shoot us. We have allies in Great Wildlands, but do not blindly follow their standings. Neither are we particularly concerned about "shooting back" or feuds between people on our blue list and/or third parties.

Did you just get shot by us?
Electus Matari does not fire on neutrals without provocation or proof of crime. If you have been shot by us, it means either you were engaged in criminal activities yourself, or your corporation/alliance mates have done that and caused EM to set you in negative standing.
If we place an organization in negative standing, it means EM's pilots are authorized to fire on the ships of said organization without warning. It might or might not mean they will actively hunt them down. Organizations are placed on the valid targets list only for 1) crimes (such as piracy, theft, extortion, or slave-trading) in Republic space, 2) hostilities towards EM or allies anywhere.

If you want clarification for why any particular organization is considered hostile, or believe there has been mistake, or have been fired on by EM pilots without being on that list, please post here or contact our diplomats (use channel "Public - EM" for finding out latest contact information) and we will be glad to explain. We recognize that friendly fire does happen in the heat of the moment, and any losses caused by mistakes of our pilots will be reimbursed.

- No piracy (defined as shooting random neutrals who would not hurt you if you did not fire first), griefing, thieving, or other criminal acts in Heimatar, Metropolis, or Molden Heath.
- No active support of slaver alliances or corporations.
