Of course there is the thread for Random Music. But this one is specifically for music which sounds at home while flying through the stars, meshes with the EVE soundtrack, and/or makes you think that it's what people in the future would listen to.

I would recommend, as example, the soundtrack to Bladerunner.



Indeed. Most of Vangelis, much of Jarre, some Kitaro, a random scatterings of Michael Book, Tangerine Dream, Ennio Morricone and Craig Armstrong appear on my eve playlists...

Huh, wenn I heard this I immediately thought about India. This was pretty much Carnatic music

The Bladerunner is probably my favorite film soundtrack of all time!!! I've actually sampled it quite a bit in remixes, nice choice!

I am pretty sure that it is Qawwali. The other songs on the soundtrack use different musical traditions, I think.
What is a good Morricone album?
