When I registered here at the weekend I didn't imagine I would be posting this but here goes anyway.

I am wondering, given my past in the UK, what the chances might be for tentative employment in EM. For reasons of my own and internal matters I won't reveal (as it would compromise ongoing council business not decided on yet) I am leaving the Ushra'Khan. It is not the first time I have contemplated this and the attitudes of the CVA in the recent fight for Providence have pushed me over the edge. In short they have ruined the spirit of mutual fun for the sake of winning at all costs and inflating their egos. But enough about that. (ooc mode off)

Of all the people in the Ushra'Khan I have felt myself to be the most open towards the Republic groups, at least understanding your thoughts if not agreeing with you on most issues. And while I have not supported, and don't see myself ever supporting the current Midular government, I have nto condoned violence against our kin as a means to our goals there. I fought an up hill battle against the rage in the wake of Muritor's killing and barely managed to stem the tide of angry Ushra'Khan members who wanted to fly into Republic space and shoot the fleet, the government and the republic pod pilot groups.

And while I may lay claim to sparking Admiral Filmir's resignation at my protest rally, I did so peacefully and with my own sense of Matari ethic intact.

I don't want to further debate the issue, I am sure no matter what there is plenty of time for this. But I am interested to know if any of you would have me in your ranks.

And if so, then is there anywhere I can go to view a profile on what your ccorporations do and where, as well as what they are looking for in a member.

I do not take this decision lightly but in short I am frustrated and tired of the larger fight, and with the direction the Ushra'Khan seems to be stepping I cannot see myself belonging to them anymore.

I await your thoughts bretheren.
We're in HERE If that helps.
Im sure any Corp with in Electus Matari would welcome you with open arms.

With saying that I would like to offer you a position with in MUFF. Exact details of what you would like to do in the Corp would need to be worked out.

As you know MUFF has been, in the past, a very strong force with in EM, usually consisting of the main 'PVP' wing.

This is where i would like to take it.

We will also be producing and trading to support our force.

Let me know thru Gal Net or when im on Coms if you feel this is what you would be looking for.
Good choice.
;D
OOC (since this is an OOC part ofthe forum) : YES!!!

IC, recruitment info is here: http://killeri.net/gradient/index.php?t=msg&th=45 -- and we welcome everyone home who wants to come.
Hi Darius
All good info to get my teeth into.

My timezone is GMT (UK).

Personality wise, I have worked on Darius for 4 years and he has a somewhat right character set. He is moody, stubborn, yet quiet and reserved and well educated and spoken. A little headstrong and prone to temper outbursts. But in terms of combat, he is not much of a vet given his time as he drifts between alliance duty for the Ushra'Khan in the council, (ie, moving and shaking policy and keeping people informed on council debates and alliance direction) and his duties planet side on Matar as the leader of the Second Shakor Clan.

As far as the Republic goes, he likes the idea of the Republic and thinks it can work, but would like a new leader at the head of the Republic that would work more actively to an end for slavery, one way or the other.

I like the sound of RP only in alliance and corp chats. This is not something enforced in the UK at all though we have an RPish way of talking to eachother which can spontaniously turn into serious RP. Will be a change of pace for me but with my character already well set in place I would be ok with that.

I am not sure what I want to do exactly. I have more pvp skills than industry. I worked on an Alt to produce stuff but not really got much to do with him yet. I never did like the idea of alts too stuff anyway as I don't normally run two accounts at once for performance reasons. So I have just skilled him up. It was partly in preperation to help assist the corp with an industrial backbone, and partly to fall back on something if the worst came with Darius and the U'K.

Out of interst, is there a policy on Alts at all?

Anyway, I do like mission running, I once got stuck into the Ani Cosmos stuff way back but left it be when we moved shop to Providence. I have high standings (and RPed connections) to the RSS which is a hold over from the less anti-republic days of the U'K when I distanced myself (but not shunned) Republic organisations and always liked to think the agent I work in Pator is kind of like an old friend and an ear in the Republic. Again, protecting my Clan's interests while walking the thin line.

I am not adversed to pve and actually I would enjoy doing it in groups for once. I have been known (in old legends around Eram from years gone by) to terrorise the odd asteroid field with mining lasers but no real dedicated skills.

As for other skills I can fly Dreadnoughts, all manners of Minmatar ships up to battleships, tech 2 ships of all kinds except for bombers, interdictors and recons. Scan probing was on the list. Not much EW skill of any kind. Salvage skills are one book (already owned and on standby) away, All tech 2 projectiles and up to medium hybrids. Most tech 2 missiles. All of the others not trained in training range.

One of my recent dislikes is fueling and managing POS though. Naturally we saw enough of that in Providence though I guess in a more dedicated industrial setting this burden would be easier shared so I could be nudged into assisting deployments and such. I do have high anchoring skills.

Anyway I'll stop the resume there and research my options. 8)
POS fuelling won't be too much of a worry - I do that myself as it gives me a chance to answer my mail Smile

Alts are fine so long as they're played as plausible characters and fulfil the requirements of whatever corp they wind up in.

Good republic standings make me grab at you and go "gimmegimmegimme".
Very true Eva, and reading that i would like you in MUFF.

As said before MUFF has usually been the PVP wing of the alliance and usually the main force in alliance combat OPs.

As of late this hasnt been the case for what ever reason.

He also mentioned the word Ani. I'm sure that didn't slip past you either Wink
