Mining changes (no date):

Supercaps
They are discussing fighter- or fighter bomber only drone bays as a main nerf point. Also, the CSM agrees that titans are basically balanced. Sorry, but I call bullshit. Titans can actually track battleships with their guns, and they kill one hostile ship every five minutes no matter what. All of which makes fleets of them nearly invincible to subcap attacks. Just because they're 60b a piece doesn't mean they should be iwin buttons. But hey, that's just my opinion ...

Flying in Space (FiS) expansion theme: 0.0
Specifically: null-sec sovereignty related features, supercap proliferation and the rule of super-capitals. As announced before.

Walking in Stations (WiS) expansion theme: Establishments
Establishments, which will also deal with smuggling contraband and boosters. This includes moving interfering with smuggling contraband to player hands, including the possibility of bribery and corruption. Establishments will be the main point for booster sales.

I thought they had corp offices first, but I'm not going to complain!

Schedule
The expansion will have multiple phases leading up to the man expansion. Expect a lot of "this is not an expansion lol" forum posts.

POS Modules
There are thoughts of moving some POS modules outside of the force field to give small gangs more harassment options. This apparently might include CSAAs. Nice idea, it means that you need to actually have defenses on your tower.

No destructible outposts :-(
Not in the near future at least. Meh.

Nebulae
They're coming this time. Honest. Apparently, including 13 different features that you can relate your current position to to make you actually "feel in space". Cool.

Turret Effects
Not turrets. Effects for them. Lazor beams and such. Shell casings flying out of artillery (I'm not kidding). Also, engine trails. And maybe cyno effects.

Local gone and not gone!
Local as we know it will be gone. But it will not simply be "off" or "delayed mode", but replaced by some different mechanic.

3rd Party Apps
They're reworking the API so you can actually play EVE without the client or something. Specifically mentioned was "buying items from the market". Woah.

Aurum/MT
Quoting verbatim:

CCP is introducing Aurum and vanity virtual goods to reduce EVE's reliance on the subscription business model. The intent is to expand the business model, not replace subscription income with virtual goods income; the objective is primarily risk mitigation as opposed to increasing income.

The games industry is currently moving heavily towards microtransaction models, and the risk that the subscription model that EVE depends on will become obsolete is of great concern. Thus, having experience with microtransactions and having the infrastructure in place to move to them should that become necessary is important. That said, CCP does not have any immediate plans to move away from subscriptions as their primary source of income.

I'm sure that means they're going to kill EVE soon.

UI Rework
They want to move more stuff into the 3D world. That would mean actually using pretty space graphics in combat(!). As an example, they want to show some kind of indicator for tracking vs. transversal - that's pretty awesome, IMHO.

Distant Future
- Progressive download client
- Overview rework
- POS rework
- Remove ABC ores from w-space, or at least lower-class w-space
- Archaeology boost
- 0.0 and low-sec boosts. Like, make meta-items produceable in low-sec, and make T2 cheaper to produce in 0.0

Interesting Tidbit
The average EVE player is 31 years old

It was also revealed that there are approximately 14,000 female account holders – or more precisely, 14,000 account holders who claim that they are women.

Of 360k accounts, that's about 4%.
