So, the 2nd part of Ava's chronicle is underway, and should be finished in a timely fasion (I had some writer's burnout, that has passed, heh) Where we will follow Ava through her last year on Matar. I tried to give a bit more cultural imagery this time through, as well as a bit more inter-personal involvement, 2 things I felt were somewhat lacking in the last part, trying to paint pictures of Ava's, and her clan's, beliefs, customs, and traditions.

So... what does everyone think? Good? Trash?

I'm still following along!

I started reading this bit, and saw with Margo in The Standing Place while lurking (as being mostly afk but reading through stuff I missed when back for brief moments), that Ava was telling people about tatoos and that she was engaged at one point. I've been really liking the story so far, getting to see such vivid descriptions of Matari life... and now I'm dreading a really sad ending! I mean, a story has to have some sort of conflict, but it's at such a happy point right now!
